Your Teen Is Not Just Going Through a Phase
You know your kid. The kid behind that door isn’t them anymore. Private virtual therapy for teens across California.

You’re Outside Their Door Again
It’s almost midnight and you’re standing outside their bedroom door again.
You ask how their day went. You get a one-word, cold “fine.”
The slammed doors. The eye rolls. The school calling, again, to pick them up early.
You keep telling yourself maybe it’s just a phase. But you know deep down this is more than typical teenage ups and downs.
You’re not just losing conversations. You’re losing connection.
Do I Even Know Them Anymore?
The withdrawal. The irritability.
The tears, the anxiety, the sense that your teen just isn’t themselves anymore.
And then there’s the 3 AM thought you can barely say out loud: are they okay, or is something genuinely wrong?
You feel helpless and exhausted. Unsure what to do next. If only you could take their pain away.
Without the right support, anxiety and depression rarely fade on their own.
Your teen is hurting. And so are you.

Why Talking AT Them Hasn’t Worked
Here’s what most teen therapy misses: parents are half the cycle.
I don’t pull your teen into a room, fix them, and hand them back. I work with your teen and you, together, as the same story.
You won’t get one more adult who thinks they have all the answers. I speak teen. And I’ll teach you both the brain science of why the feelings are this big.
The connection got hurt between you. It heals between you, too.
Therapy builds the emotional resilience your teen carries into the rest of their life.
Let’s work together to:
What Therapy Helps Your Teen Build
- Name the anxious thought and learn whether it’s even true.
- Reach for real tools when emotions feel too big, too fast.
- Move from shutting down to actually opening up.
- Rebuild the connection at home instead of bracing for the next fight.
- Trade constant overwhelm for emotional steadiness.
The Three Phases of Our Work Together
Understanding Their Story
We explore your teen’s story through their early experiences and attachment patterns. Your teen begins to feel seen, understood, and safe enough to start healing. Your teen feels truly seen.
What Gets Triggered
We name the triggers, beliefs, and emotional patterns underneath, in both your teen and you. Your teen starts to understand why the feelings get so big. The “why” finally makes sense.
New Patterns, Lasting Change
Insight alone isn’t the goal. Your teen practices real coping tools, and when it’s time, we bring you in to rebuild connection and communication. Surviving becomes living again.

A Little About Me
I became a therapist to help teenagers and their parents.
My goal is to offer you a space where you feel genuinely safe, seen, and heard.
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of California. In addition to my formal education, I have pursued extensive training in evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) approaches, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and the impact of childhood trauma, and a neurobiology approach to understanding the brain’s response to stress.
It would be my honor to support you and your family with what’s happening right now.
Why Trust Me as Your Partner in Healing
A Mom Who Has Actually Been There
I’m raising an almost-grown daughter of my own, and I spent twelve years inside middle and high schools before this. I get it. I truly get it.
Your Teen and You, Working Together
Most teen therapists treat the teen alone, but parents are half the cycle, so I require your buy-in and we do this work as one family.
The Brain Science, Made Plain
I’ll show your teen and you what their brain needs and in what order, so the big emotions finally make sense instead of scaring everyone.
Frequently Asked Questions
Call Now for Your Free ConsultationWill my teen even agree to talk to you?
Plenty of teens come in guarded, convinced no adult gets it. I don’t push. I meet them where they are, in their world, and let trust build at their pace.
What if I’m part of the problem?
You’re not the problem, and neither is your teen. The pattern between you is, and that’s exactly the thing we work on together.
Is this more than a phase, or am I overreacting?
Trust the instinct that brought you here. You know your kid better than anyone, and noticing early is how you help them, not a sign you failed.
How long until we see a change?
Every teen moves at their own pace, and I don’t work harder than my clients do. Many families notice the silence softening within the first weeks of consistent work.
Do you really meet online?
Yes. I work virtually with teens and families across California, which often feels safer and more comfortable for a teen than sitting in a waiting room.
Take the First Step Today
You’ve spent months reading the silence, hoping it’s nothing, fearing it’s everything. This time can be different. We’ll figure out what your teen’s brain needs, rebuild the connection that’s gone quiet, and give them tools that outlast our work together.
You don’t have to take their pain away by yourself anymore. The closeness you miss isn’t gone. We start by finding the way back to each other.
